Stayed here for a retreat. Rooms definitely need a make over, felt like I was back in the 70's. Place had a bit of a musty smell.

Drove into San Diego on a whim and found this place on I-8. I chose it because of the cool sign. It was a bit retro and I like retro. The lobby was very throwback but the agent was professional and I got a great rate. Also got discounts…
Pros: great waffles, clean rooms, good service, nice heated pool Cons: needs a little updating, fridges would be nice
