First off, I'd just like to point out that OK Cupid thinks that live near Fresno some 385 miles away from where I do live. Actually, I live near San Diego, CA in a small suburb of Bonita. As a child my family used to hide the tools from me because I liked to take things apart to see how they worked. Today I'm a computer technician. Each year I make my pilgrimage to Comic Con here in San Diego for the entire 4 days. The following weekend I spend at Pride with my fellow queer geeks. I also attend other meet ups and go to movies with friends and my sons. When I'm not out somewhere, I watch my favorite shows like Torchwood , Heroes, Doctor Who, or something from my DVD collection. Occasionally I'll head to Renaissance festival or SCA event, sometimes even in costume!

I have a cat named Draco and a Ball Python named Monty. Draco is currently my best buddy, but I would like to find someone who enjoys the same things I do. Draco is not that interested in Lord of the Rings and I don't care for catnip mice. It's a relationship of convenience. He thinks I'm here to serve him and I just happen to be convenient. Oh should also mention, that I live with my surly teenage son, who's into heavy metal and plays guitar.

I do have some hobbies to keep me busy as well. I have a bow and I have a place to practice archery in my back yard. I also want to learn to play the guitar better and I just got an electric guitar for the holidays, which I'm learning how to play.

I'm not much of a party person, but I do like small social gatherings so I end up at various meet ups with people of similar interests. I consider myself a Pagan with wiccan, shamanistic leanings, but would like to learn more about chaos magic. I'm always a work in progress and I frequently re-invent myself.

I'm a reserved individual when meeting new people but after 10-20 minutes and I'm able to judge how well you can take the things I have to say, then I open up. I have a short tolerance for things I consider stupid, but I'll never tell it to their faces. I hate being confrontational.

I used to be big into anime, but have become jaded towards it. The main reason is that when it hit main stream, any title with oversized breasts on the cover was liscensed and translated to english, and flooded the market drowning out the gems with actual good story lines. No quality control. I've become more attracted to the art side of it such as Masamune Shirow's works.

I dislike chatting on the phone for hours or texting. Can't explain it, I just hate doing it.

I like to argue. Even if we agree on things in general I'll find a nuance where we disagree and argue that. Anouther one of my quirks.

I tend to defer to my partner in a relationship. I have no problems presenting various options, but when told I have to be the one to chose, I am hessitate, because I don't want to chose one and have the partner be unhappy. I am also a person who takes things at face value. You tell me your fine I will take your world for it.

I spend my free time trying enjoy life with those around me. Not so common for guys, but I love dancing. I dance solo and partner styles. Mostly Chicago/NY style house and hip hop solo. I dance swing(lindy hop and jitterbug), salsa, merengue, NY hustle... my partner dancing is way rusty though due to lack of partners.

I love live music. I've been to more concerts than I can recall or really count. I just know there was a time they might as well have direct deposited my paychecks to ticketmaster. Damn monopoly.

I like to have people over at the house just to chill out. We have a lot of game nights lately, Pictionary, Taboo, Scategories, it sounds lame but it actually is quite fun. Poker nights have come up as of late now as well

I am currently in the process of restoring a classic bike. I picked up a 73' Harley Ironhead, which I am pretty much going through piece by piece. I frequently smell like motor oil. I find great satisfaction in driving/riding a vehicle that works because I made it work with my own two hands.

Movies and video games are always good, I recently built a new PC trying to get back into the gaming thing. I can't play the way I used to though, I get burned out on it pretty quick.

Hello there thanks for taking the time to read my ad. First of all I'd like to say that my main picture is recent (Feb '09) and that I do look young for my age. Some of the things I enjoy are riding motorcycles (heading out to Julian is nice), motorsports (namely NASCAR and no I'm not a redneck), I autocross and love it, a wide variety of music and movies, animals, and all types of games; card games, board gamesâ?¦..cardboard games, video, pretty much anything that makes one think.

I also have a sarcastic, dry and sometimes dark sense of humor. I'm not glued to my TV but I do like shows such as House, Lie to Me, Family Guy, American Dad, South Park and a maybe a reality show or two like Hells Kitchen.

Obviously there's more to me than that but then what would there be to yak about later at our first meeting over a dinner or lunch eh?

I am a down to Earth person once you get to know me. There's nothing I wouldn't do for those I care about. I think I got a good sense of humor I like to laugh most of the time.
